Decide how well you need the service done and how much you are willing to pay, and then drag the item you need serviced onto the icon right of the players name. To view outgoing private trade offers, go to the Trader and choose "Outgoing Offers". There the player will be able to view any outgoing private trades and the player they are being sent to. Item names in grey text represent expired trades while colored item names are still valid offers.
Outgoing offers can be canceled by clicking on an outgoing trade and selecting "Cancel Sale". To view incoming private trade offers, go to the Trader and select "Incoming Offers".
