What does lr mean on my neptune washer

Pretty easy install. If you can use a screwdriver, a wrench, and have played with legos before, you can probably do this job. It took me about 3 hours to do, but this was with inferior tools, and two smoke breaks included. Recommended tool equirements: Small ratchet with socket set, ratcheting screwdriver with phillips head and small socket attachments, brew. The instructions are pretty clear.

This gives your arm more room to work and makes it easier to pull the motor out the front. They ask you to remove the wiring harness from the motor first and then pull the harness out with the control board. I checked on that and it is smooth to hand turn it ,,,,but loose also i mean i can push it in easy and side to side!!

Forum Jump AppliancePartsPros. You can post new topics in this forum. The 2nd image contains the information on how to enter and run a diagnostic cycle which may help pin the source of the problem down. This test completes all functions of the washer is a short time. It will fill, tumble, drain and spin all is a few minutes. At the end of a successful test cycle a PA should display which means "Passed" and is what you want to see. I hope this information helps to resolve this problem but submit another question with any additional details for further assistance.

I have the similar lr code on a model mahbww. It pretty consistently interupts the cyle at 8 minutes. I am not sure if this is when the spin changes motor speeds or not. If you press start most of the times it will continue until the next spin or stop with another lr fault.

The instructions you provided do not address entering the diagnostic mode for this particular model. Any thoughts on pinning this down. I was ready to purchase a motor and controler until you brought up the spin bearing.

I also checked the motor control board at the top plug, which has three wires to it green, black and white. Checking my wiring diagram, it shows that the green is common ground I believe , white goes to the pump and black goes from the main control board to the motor control board. With the machine set in a delay cycle, I measured vac with my negative lead on the green wire and red on the black wire. So, I am fairly certain I am getting power to the motor control board, and also can I assume that my main board is good and I can eliminate it as possibly being bad?

Thanks again. The issue likely lies within the motor. The tach in the motor is what the control reads to determine if it is running and how fast it is running. If you have tested the harness, assured good connections and replaced the motor controller, the motor is almost certainly at fault and really the only component left.
