As of patch 3. His damage from auto attacks is amazing due to Warpath. Trinity Force is now a core item on Hecarim. It is his best damage item in the game right now. It gives him almost everything he needs and nothing bad for him. When you look closely at Jax, you discover that he actually is a walking Trinity Force.
Every stat on Trinity Force except crit and movement speed, but those never hurt synergizes with Jax's kit! Hextech Gunblade is very nice on Jax, not because it directly synergizes with his kit, but because it amplefies the strengths that Trinity Force gives Jax.
